Edifce X G-Shock Watch Set

Bringing a bit of a contemporary touch to the usual street stylings of Casio’s G-SHOCK, we get a peek into an upcoming project between Casio and Japanese menswear label Edifice. Two new watches will be produced within a set that finds inspiration from British design, while celebrating Edifice’s 15th Anniversary. Simple yet classy, both timepieces feature mostly white/black platforms with added stripe and polka dot motifs on the bands.

Caliroots offer a preview into an upcoming collaboration between Swedish label WeSC and Japan’s premier toy specialists Medicom Toy. The collection looks to highlight WeSC’s 10th Anniversary with four different sets, each featuring its own 100% Bearbrick toy and WeSC headphones, with the Crayfish set also boasting a FABRICK pouch. All are created in classic WeSC prints, including the Egg Beer, Swedish, Travel, and Crayfish. An in-store release will be held this Thursday, December 10th at Caliroot’s “C” concept store in Stockholm.

Nankai Hawks X Casio G-Shock

Founded 70 years ago, the current Japanese baseball franchise the Hawks (currently known as the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks) set the baseball scene ablaze with its colorful uniforms in the 70’s when it was known as the Nankai Hawks. In an homage to the foundation of the Hawks baseball team, CASIO G-SHOCK releases the following tribute watch featuring a Rasta-colored execution. The strap also includes various Hawks markings including a crest and type logo. The watch will release at the end of December, 2009.
